January Activity Calendar 2026
As we step into the New Year, Corerstone Youth Centre is filled with hope, gratitude, and excitement for what’s ahead! This year, we are striving to be an even stronger source of support for the youth who walk through our doors. By showing up consistently, listening deeply, and continuing to meet them where the youth are.
The team is especially excited to welcome new youth into our programs and into the Cornerstone community. There is so much growth ahead, and we have many meaningful activities, opportunities, and moments planned that will help youth build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
The team are incredibly grateful to continue this journey alongside our youth and the wider community. We can’t wait to see what this year brings and to keep being there for the young people who inspire us every single day. Looking into the new year, remember: no dream is too big, and no goal is out of reach. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow, and every setback is simply a stepping stone to something greater. The journey ahead is full of possibilities, and we’re excited to continue walking alongside you!

Youth Working With US
The programs at Cornerstone Youth Centre are designed to act as a preventative measure to build youth resiliency, encourage responsibility, and the capacity to make healthy choices once outside of the centre.
Registering for our Mentorship Matters program is simple! Once you've completed the registration form, our team will conduct an in-depth consultation to assess the specific needs of each youth. Following this thorough evaluation, we will contact parents directly to confirm whether their child has been accepted into the program, ensuring that we provide the best possible support for every participant.

Working With Youth
Our programs are based on The 40 developmental Assets, which is a framework created by the Search Institute. The external assets focus on the relationships and opportunities they need in their families, schools, and communities, while the internal assets focus on the social-emotional strengths, values, and commitments that are nurtured within young people. The more assets a youth gains, the less likely they are to engage in risky behaviours, including substance use, gang involvement, school incompletion.
