November Activity Calendar 2025

🍂 Welcome Back to Cornerstone Youth Centre! 🍂

Cornerstone Youth Centre is excited to welcome back our youth and families! September marks a fresh start filled with opportunities to grow, learn, and connect. We are so glad to have our youth return, ready to dive into fun programs, reconnect with friends, and build new memories together.

Our fall programming kicks off on September 2nd, and we can’t wait to see both familiar and new faces walking through our doors. With a variety of engaging activities, mentorship opportunities, and a safe, welcoming environment, Cornerstone is here to support youth as they begin another successful school year.

November reminds us that growth takes time, patience, and courage! Qualities our youth demonstrate every single day. At Cornerstone Youth Centre, we’re proud to see our youth setting goals, supporting one another, and proving that the future is bright when young minds are nurtured and encouraged

Youth Working With US

The programs at Cornerstone Youth Centre are designed to act as a preventative measure to build youth resiliency, encourage responsibility, and the capacity to make healthy choices once outside of the centre.

Registering for our Mentorship Matters program is simple! Once you've completed the registration form, our team will conduct an in-depth consultation to assess the specific needs of each youth. Following this thorough evaluation, we will contact parents directly to confirm whether their child has been accepted into the program, ensuring that we provide the best possible support for every participant.

Working With Youth

Our programs are based on The 40 developmental Assets, which is a framework created by the Search Institute. The external assets focus on the relationships and opportunities they need in their families, schools, and communities, while the internal assets focus on the social-emotional strengths, values, and commitments that are nurtured within young people. The more assets a youth gains, the less likely they are to engage in risky behaviours, including substance use, gang involvement, school incompletion.
